New Collective, founded in 2014, is an organisation bringing together creative people in the UK (mostly North) to locate them strategically within big businesses and organisations. As a start-up, they reached out to me to do their branding. After many brainstorms, the main things that came out were: innovation, young, fresh and new. Mainly to attract young creatives, but still professional.
We went for very vibrant, lively and young colors. Bright but soft. The logo is made up of opaque shapes, forming the N and the C in an overlay, showcasing ‘innovative’. The shape of the square diamond is an pattern returning in official documents and social media posts, always bringing text, images, and design together.
